Movie Review: "The Island"

Ewan McGregor & Scarlett Johansson

I thought the concept was just wild, creepy, and interesting... There were a lot of explosions and action scenes which made you think, "Yea right, these guys should have been dead by now and somehow Scarlett Johansson's character hasn't a scratch on her!"

It was definitely not what the title would make it seem to be. Remember that horrible Leonardo Dicaprio movie "The Beach", it was all about a friggin' bunch of people going crazy on a beach... well, I went into this assuming it had something to do with an Island, but it didn't really have anything to do with the plot at all, so that was really refreshing. I enjoy crafty titles in movies... songs too... i tend to stray away from stuff like "A Boy & His Dog" when it's about a boy and his dog.

Honestly, if you haven't heard anything about this movie... go see it... don't look anything up about it and just go see it. It was so much better not knowing what to expect. So I will leave it at this... it's worth the watch, the ending is a little creepy... overall I rate it a 3 1/2 out of 5!!!
